American Legion Riders Chapter 4, Dog Tag Buddies, and Tenacious Dames Riding Club teamed up to spread awareness about suicide in Montana. The Ride for Tomorrow, adding miles to the conversation, was held on Saturday, June 19. It consisted of an Iron Butt challenge and many other summer solstice routes that bikers could ride. Despite having to detour guests temporarily as our new front door was being installed, we saw plenty of happy folks through the museum this week. On Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 0739 hours, the Phillips County Sheriff's Office was notified of a pursuit of a vehicle by Fort Belknap Police officers on Route 66, heading South towards US 191. Sheriff Jerry Lytle, Undersheriff Kevin Metcalf, and Deputy Seth Sanguins engaged and started driving south of Malta towards the location of the pursuit. One thing that I did this month, was watch Scott Simanton put in a different window at the old 3 Sisters building between the Liquor Haven and Valley Drug. Also, MOI (Malta Opportunities Inc.), will be getting a new washing machine soon.
