    On Friday, October 21, two Phillips County women became official American Kennel Club (AKC) groomers, thanks to the effort and expertise of Laura Pankratz, owner of Little Mutt Groomin' Hut in Malta. The new groomers are Cassie Bullard of Malta and Kaiu Korman of Saco. Bullard will groom in Malta, while Korman will be grooming in Hinsdale.     On Monday, October 31, little goblins, cute spooks and bloody-mouth vampires converged on the Veteran's Park in number. Independence Bank hosted their 2022 Happy Halloween Spooktacular and decorated the gazebo at the park.     Thank you to whomever ordered the weather for last Saturday, October 22nd~it was great! At least from the standpoint and view of the Senior Citizen Center, who hosted a "super souper" day. Eight kettles and pots, but no cauldrons, were available on the fall day that was perfect for dining with friends.
