    In a fairly straightforward meeting last Tuesday night, the city council got the first report on the City Pool by new manager Shay Garfield and assistant manager Izzy Siegle. They informed the council that over the first three weeks of the pool being open, they have made $8,614.77. A majority of which is from swim lessons and sign-ups.     Nitrates are an issue to be aware of with our annual forage like hay barley and other small grain that we make into hay. Moisture has not been universal across the landscape and some crops and weeds may be stressed, accumulating nitrate. One early test of lambsquarter (see photo below) showed presence of nitrate.
