Saco School hosted the local science fair on March 23rd. All 6th - 8th graders presented their projects, and seven students advanced to the state science fair competition in Missoula against many other schools. From there, five students walked away with gold ribbons, and two took home silver ribbons. Members of Malta Dirt Daubers Garden Club recently added five birdhouses to the Malta Bird Sanctuary located along the Trafton Trail behind the HG Robinson House, PC Museum and GPDM. The barn style wooden houses were made and donated by Clair Waters to attract and house smaller birds along the trail.
