Students from Elim Lutheran Brethren Church packed 29 Christmas shoeboxes for the Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child project this week. This outreach sends boxes to children around the world in remote and impoverished locations to share the love of Jesus Christ with them. It also gives these children an opportunity to participate in a 12 week discipleship program that teaches them truths from God's Word, bringing hope and joy to their communities. Run for your lives. The killer deer are coming. Montana’s general big game season ended this week leaving a lot of hunters with unfilled mule deer tags. Wildlife officials say there’s been a drop in the statewide muley population for the last three years. I think they’re all just looking for deer in the wrong places. 1 yrs ago Dec. 3, 2014 While families gathered across the county for Thanksgiving last week, at least one individual was out vandalizing in Dodson. Window were busted out of the Town Hall. There were no fingerprints, or rocks or other instruments indicating what used for the break-in. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks game wardens are seeking any information regarding a bull elk and whitetail buck that were shot, had their heads removed, and were left to waste in south Blaine County. Wardens received a report of the dead elk and deer, and after investigating, located them on private property about ¾ of a mile south of the junction of People’s Creek Road and Birdtail Road in south Blaine County, about 30 miles south of Chinook.
