    As cases in Montana continue to surge, Governor Steve Bullock announced new public health orders that took effect on Friday, November 20th. Bars, casinos, breweries, distilleries and restaurants will be limited to operate at 50% capacity and must close by 10 p.m. Table seating is limited to six people instead of ten, and any public gatherings where social distancing isn’t possible will be limited to 25 people.     Phillips County residents have once again shown their generosity and love for a friend in need with another amazing KMMR Radiothon, which was held on Friday, November 20. Callers contributed over $20,000 to Chayten Pippin’s medical fund as of the last count. Chayten, 18, was diagnosed with a Desmoplastic Small Round Cell tumor, a very rare cancer that begins with a cell in the pelvis that attaches itself to an organ. There are under 400 known cases.     Conrad Lyle (Connie) Cox, 87, of South Havre passed away peacefully at his home November 8, 2020. Connie was born on March 21, 1933 in Havre, Montana. The first child of Art and Bertha (Sargent) Cox, he was raised on the family ranch forty-two miles north of Havre near Wildhorse Lake next to the Canadian Border. We had our Big Milk River Brew and Que with a Run, and helped out with the EMS fundraiser at Hi-Line Kitchen east of town and did a couple of free will meals for the EMS crew and the BBQ and Blue Ridge Brewery.
