    Mark Hebert, Publisher|Oct 31, 2018

Though the fall weather has descended upon Phillips County, at least one mosquito lingers in Malta and it is larger than life. Creepy crawlers, ghoulie ghosts, witches and pumpkins. Yes, its Halloween in Phillips County. The PC Museum has its own spooky tale to tell. In 1924 the Miller Blacksmith shop burned completely down under mysterious circumstances. Fast forward to 1926 and a group of children playing in the ruins left at the blacksmith location. Suddenly the games came to a complete halt when a skull was found. Examination of the skull by physicians reveal that it is a white man or woman. And in a surprising turn of events, the bones are not old but new. Much...

    Mark Hebert, Publisher|Oct 31, 2018

The final score of Malta vs. Huntley Project first round playoff, a game in Malta last Saturday afternoon, 30-6, doesn't really tell the tale of how close this gridiron match really was.
