With nearly 100 electives to choose each school year, four Malta High School students chose Mrs. Ashley Pankratz' journalism class and last Thursday afternoon the quartet visited the Phillips County News office to see how a weekly newspaper operates. Malta Dirt Daubers Garden Club members spent last Tuesday cutting flowers of their own and from Norma Kelly's and Michelle Rock's gardens. At Dr. Mike Veseth's carport they were busy filling almost sixty vases with fresh cut flowers. The first table was for the water filled vases and flower insertion, the next table was for adding flora and fluff, and the final table held the finished products. MALTA-Roger Fred Ereaux, 81 years old, passed away of natural causes on Monday, August 28, 2017, at the Great Falls hospital. Rosary was 6:30 p.m., Sunday, September 3, at Kirkwood Memorial Chapel. Malcolm Frank Linthicum was born Aug 31, 1928, at the Red Cross Hospital in Rockglen, SK. Frank was the sixth child of Bill and Louise (Murphy) Linthicum.
