Fishing used to be so much better. I’m afraid I’ve ruined it all. I don’t catch as many fish as I once did. It’s not that I fish less or more ineptly, there simply don’t seem to be as many fish available for catching as there once did. I’ve fished the same stretch of the Yellowstone River in Yellowstone National Park nearly every summer since 1971. It used to be a 40-fish-a-day spot. I caught my age in cutthroat trout there when I was 55. A dozen years later, however, and I’m lucky to hit...
Judge me if you must. But in my free time, mostly at 9 p.m., I play video games. Things are a lot different nowadays with video games needing the internet. For years we have not had the internet at the Bibbs residence, until a few weeks ago. It feels like a whole new world. Everything is connected to the internet. Before we installed Triangle’s Internet service, it was fifty-fifty on whether or not you could get through a video without exiting said video because it wouldn’t load. It was a str...

This week I took some photos of construction on the Malta Boys and Girls Club Building (the old St. Mary's School) in Malta as well as more construction photos at MOI. They are pouring cement at MOI in front of the building and work continues on the laundromat, which will be closed longer than expected, but you can still have your laundry done by the MOI staff. And then, at the Boys and Girls Club they are working on reroofing the building and even though construction is ongoing, the Boys and...

Happy July! And what a mixed up Mother Nature we have! The high temperatures ranged from the low 59’s to low 90’s! The rain was spotty, but where it rained, it was a deluge! We did not get terribly huge amounts at Loring where I live, but just five miles away it rained .8 inch. The Little Cottonwood Creek must have gotten a downpour because the gully by the highway was still running 3 hours later! Rain, it's a good thing. I've heard a few people complaining that they can't get the lawn mow...
