    The Malta Track Teams competed in the District 2B meet last Saturday, May 13, in Glasgow. Those that placed in the top six will be competing in those events at the Northern B Divisional meet in Great Falls on Saturday, May 20. At the 2B District Meet, the M-ettes were second as a team in the women's meet with a total of 141 points.     The Dodson, Saco, and Whitewater Track Teams competed in Glasgow on Saturday, May 13, at the 3C District Meet. At the meet, two Phillips County athletes; Saco’s Josie Brown and Whitewater’s Paige Wasson set 3C District Meet records. Wasson had a record throw of 125-5 in javelin, and Brown ran a record time of 12.67 seconds in the 100 meter dash.   • BLM to repair culvert on Dry Fork Road May 23; temporary closure scheduled

    The following reached the PCN newsdesk at 2:09 p.m. on Friday, May 19, and will not be printed. A small section of Dry Fork Road in Phillips County will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic May 23 while Bureau of Land Management staff repair a damaged culvert running under the road.
