The Malta Mustangs took fourth place at the 2B District Track Meet in Wolf Point last Saturday, May 13. Glasgow won the meet with 244 points. Wolf Point took second with 117.5, Harlem was third with 100.5 points and Poplar took fifth with 12 points. The Mustangs scored 49 points at the meet and were led by senior Jace Bishop, who placed third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:11.84, a season best. Last Year’s Color Fun Run featured 98 runners of all ages and was such a success that Malta Parks and Recreation decided to bring it back on Saturday, June 3, Malta’s busiest day of the year.
