Do you remember the Sunny Hillside School? It was located 14 miles south of Dodson and began in 1910. Students walked or rode horses across the prairie to attend. Though the policy of “No Child Left Behind” was unheard of in 1910 the rural teachers saw to it that each student was taught the three “R’s”. Between a broken leg, house remodel repairs, and a black mold diagnosis in their home, Beth was diagnosed with cancer. On the bright side, she and her husband Garry were closing in on the process of adopting their granddaughter, Emma. A benefit to aid her was set up. The Dodson, Saco, and Whitewater Track teams competed in the District 3C meet in Wolf Point last Saturday, May 11. The Malta Golf Teams competed in the 2024 Northern B Divisional meet last Monday, May 6, but the meet ended abruptly due to weather in Glasgow.
