    Lady Penguins Though it was cold and windy, the Whitewater Penguins swept their home meet last Thursday, April 30. The girls were dominant in their win, scoring 146 points.     The Malta Middle School track meet last Saturday couldn't have come at a better time or a more beautiful day. Students from all over Eastern Montana came out for the meet. Malta sixth grader Erica Smith shined in the 100 meter dash, blowing everyone away with her speed. "I guess it runs in the family," Smith said. "It felt good because it's my home meet.     The Whitewater Penguins and Saco Panthers may be few, but that didn’t stop a few athletes from placing at the North-East Top Ten meet in Glasgow last Tuesday, April 28. Whitewater’s Kourtney Simonson took fourth in the 800 meter run with a time of two minutes and 37.30 seconds. Penguin teammate Tatum Moore took sixth in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 18.15.     Amongst the top athletes in Northern and Eastern Montana , the M-ettes would not be denied, taking first place, scoring 72 points at the North-East Top 10 meet in Glasgow last Tuesday, April 28.     The Malta Mustangs took eleventh at the North-East Top Ten meet in Glasgow last Tuesday, April 28. Devon Raybon posted a new personal best at the meet, clearing six feet in high jump, which was good enough for third place.
