"I went and talked to him about things and he is pretty awesome," Giona said prior to taking the stage. "Mr. Henry let me do someone who is alive, and I thought it was a good idea. Great-grandpa George - longtime owner of...

Here in town, we acquired about another four inches or so, out north in the country they had more and harder winds to drift the roads terribly again. All the ranchers are calving and some have had a heavy death toll on calves AND cows. Not a very good feeling. Terrible roads were reported. All 11 of Wink and Terri Cole's...

More snow fell up here this week! We have not had enough warmth to get the Whitewater Creek running, but I see the Big and Little Cottonwood and the Assiniboine Creeks are sending a little water into the Milk! Some people tease me because I enjoy Facebook. Today I got a message from a friend who spent weeks in summer visiting her grandparents and Betty and Glenn Compton in Loring. Susan Compton commented that she had a nice visit on the phone with Aunt Betty Jo and Uncle Glenn. She is Ross...
Dear Editor, Well, well, well, here we go again! The APR bullies are going for another greedy land grab. Their goal is to now take over thousands of BLM acres so their huge bison herd can’t roam freely within a fenced boundary that will keep the bison in by using a top string of electrical fence. Give me a break! Bison can charge through a fence of razor wire if they are intent on moving on. Bison are some of the most dangerous wrist animals there are. Bison can run up to 35 mph and nothing can stop a charging herd of bison. I certainly hope t...

He cried for about 20 minutes before he calmed down. As I looked down at his hand grabbing my finger for the first time, I had forgotten that the initial crying is good for C-s...
