The Malta Dirt Daubers, along with help from the Malta Kiwanis, spent a busy Saturday afternoon decorating almost 50 oak barrels located around Malta. Each barrel received a small white fence, colorful birdhouse and artificial spring flowers. Later this month live flowers will be put into the oak barrels. Montana Farm Bureau has expressed strong concern at the proposal by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to remove agriculture from Refuge lands.
