    The Malta Mustangs have already started things off on a positive note this track season, having taken fourth place as a team in their first meet of the year.     The Whitewater track team welcomes a couple of new faces in the 2019 season and those faces are a welcome addition to a small but talented group.     The Malta M-ettes have a total of sixteen athletes listed for the 2019 track season, which means the group could make a run in this year's postseason meets. The team welcomes Jim Benn as their head coach this season. Benn had previous experience coaching the Ronan track team prior to joining Malta in 2017.     The Malta Golf team has 17 members in 2019, which is only one less than last year's group, but the team has retained plenty of youth both new and returning.     The Saco Panthers track team may not have the numbers that they had last season, but the group has brought back a few athletes that should compete late into the postseason. Gone are graduated seniors Chandler Pippin, Bailey Funk, Sydney Zeller, Challise Young, and Chris Depuydt.
