The local Extension Office honored one of their own with the 35th Annual Jim Schumacher Day last week. Jim Schumacher served as the County Agent in Phillips County for years. Serving in the office for seven years, he was active with the kids in the 4-H program, and a shoulder for a rancher or farmer when support or ideas were needed. Dolores (Dolly) R. Judge passed away in her home in Portland, Oregon, Jan. 16, 2024, of natural causes. She was cared for by her loving children to the very end. She was born in Saco, Montana, on August 2, 1930. Dolly grew up in Wagner, the daughter of Leo and Erma Curley and sister to Donny Curley. She was married to Joseph Judge, in Malta in May of 1946. Jack Wesley McCuin, age 88 of Jordan, formerly of Saco, Montana, passed away on February 2, 2024 at the Garfield County Nursing Home in Jordan, Montana.
