    Saco BPA attended the State Convention in Billings on March 10-12th. Laytin Erickson placed 6th in Fundamental Word Processing and qualified for the National Convention in Chicago, IL!     The Saco Chapter of Business Professionals of America attended the 2024 Regional conference in Lambert, MT on January 11th. The kids surely didn't come home empty handed. Emerson Downing was awarded 1st place in Graphic Design Josie Brown, Jessa Erickson, and Emerson Downing competed on a Visual Design Team together and took away the 1st place trophy.   • Saco School Holds End of Year Activities for 7th and 8th Graders

    The 7th and 8th graders at Saco School spent the last week and a half of the school year taking part in a math-themed escape room. The students were put into three groups and tasked with finding hints and clues throughout a classroom set up by junior high math teachers Shyla Sunford and Kraig Nordahl.   • Saco School's Local & State Science Fair Results

    Saco School hosted the local science fair on March 23rd. All 6th - 8th graders presented their projects, and seven students advanced to the state science fair competition in Missoula against many other schools. From there, five students walked away with gold ribbons, and two took home silver ribbons.     It has been a couple of busy weeks for our little community. Basketball games, bingo nights, music concerts, the list keeps going. I want to give proper recognition to the kids that are breaking books out of "book jail" and volunteering their time outside of the classroom. These last two weeks Saco's Pep Club hosted bingo on two separate occasions, but the 13th was especially fun. Saco School's Pep Club bought a bunch of popular books, ones that specifically interest the students, but they have to earn them to get them out! How do they earn them?
