    The Middle School Academic Olympics occurred on April 10th at Glasgow High School. Malta competed in the Class I section taking written tests in Math, English, Science, and Social Studies and the oral rounds. They competed against teams from Sidney, Plentywood, Glasgow, Fairview, Chinook, Glendive, and Wolf Point; a total of 72 students.     Malta Middle School students traveled to Glasgow on April 19th, 2023 to compete in the Academic Olympics. Members consisted of 8th graders: Tripp Lefdahl, Renzey Raymond, Oslo Stenberg, Carly Mears, Bridger Benton, Emma Ereaux, and 7th graders: Hunter Negus, Hudson Honey, Steeler Blunt, and Kruise Stiles.     Malta Middle School held its Spelling Bee on January 24, 2023. Titus Wiederrick and Peyton Branham battled back and forth for 7 rounds before a winner was declared.     Saco Spelling Bee - It came down to old versus new in Saco last week, at least in the ranks of middle and elementary schools.
