The joint boards of the Hi-Line Retirement Center and the Phillips County Hospital held their first meeting on Monday, March 21st, since the separation of administration. The Malta Mason Lodge #57 were a part of a special event at the Hi-Line Retirement Center (HLRC) thanks to a generous donation of a beef by fellow Mason and retired veterinarian Doc Curtis. A cow that Curtis owned had lost her calf last summer and developed a bum leg. Curtis fattened the cow up during the summer and decided to donate the beef to the HLRC.
