On their 100th year of football, The Malta Mustangs Football team ended the regular season as the 2022 Northern B Division Conference Champions, a title that they also won in 2021. The Malta Cross Country Team hosted the 2022 Malta Athletic Club Invitational with a total of 87 runners present at Marian Hills Golf Course. The Phillips County Health Department, Phillips County Coalition of Healthy Choices, and Phillips County Hospital teamed up for the 2022 Phillips County Mental Health Awareness Walk on Sunday, September 11.
