    In the early hours of Saturday, January 11, 2025, dispatch received a phone call from a guardian that a juvenile male was missing from their residence. The juvenile was on conditions of release for previous criminal activities. Phillips County Deputies searched Malta and surrounding areas for the missing juvenile. Shortly before 0600 hours, dispatch received a phone call from a local business reporting the burglary of their establishment.     On Friday, October 1, 2021, a joint drug interdiction operation was conducted involving members of the Phillips County Sheriff’s Office, Montana Motor Carrier Services, Montana Highway Patrol, and a K-9 unit with the US Department of Fish Wildlife and Parks. A traffic stop resulted in the use of the K-9 dog and the seizure of the vehicle pending a search warrant to search for illicit drugs.
