The local school districts held their elections and levy voting on May 3, 2022. In Malta, a new trustee has been voted in. Jessica Oyler defeated incumbent Greg Skiff in the only spot up for the Malta Board of Trustees. On Thursday, April 28, the Bank of Malta celebrated 50 years of service to the Malta community with an open house. Cake, cookies, and punch were served to a very well attended celebration. During the latest Malta City Council meeting on April 26, Delsi and Eric Witmer asked the council for permission to hang Hometown Hero Banners on the light poles around town. Both the Mustangs and M-ettes golf teams had a busy week last week with three golf meets attended and one canceled. On Monday, April 25, the teams were in Fort Benton.
