If you would like, here is where we met up with them. The family had ordered and were using the restroom, stretching their legs, and merely waiting to head down the road. *Since I never introduced myself, nor did they to me, I’ll jus...
Did you ever have one of those days when something comes over you and gives you a nudge or feeling? I used to have those “feelings” that made me leery of things. I left work at 6:15 p.m. Monday evening and as I left several vehicles with flashing lights were approaching me and then turned toward the fire hall. The men were running from their vehicles, leaving little time to make an imprint in the snow their feet were moving so fast. The Lord called on Hi angels, on a cold winter day, "His time has come; there is no reason for delay." With the whisper of their wings, 'twas his journey's end; While it was heaven's gain – we all lost a friend. His pain is gone; he's been set free; He grins and laughs now, like you and me. And when he reached The Promise Land He stood straight and tall, with his fiddle in his hand. His life was a mission for thirty seven years/ He faced his share of trials, shed his share of tears. While his d...
