Record-breaking low temperatures for these days are still keeping us bundled up and wishing for spring. Huge piles of snow are everywhere but some people are looking into hauling some away to avoid that much water if it ever does start to melt. Bonnie Lankford and Terri Cole started a Bible study for Lent on Tuesday and were joined by a few Lutheran ladies. Dora Henry went to Havre on Friday and joined family members from Whitehall, Havre, Great Falls, and Belgrade to enjoy the Little Squirt Sta...

Dodson has almost closed down tight as the very severe cold hangs in and everyone stays pretty well inside. Last Friday morning saw 36 degrees below and we received several inches of new snow on top of the two feet we already had which nobody was happy about. Winter definitely kept its hold on the weather with Tuesday warming up enough to make the snow settle but on Wednesday it was back to more snow in the morning with the sun trying to shine by noon. Wednesday was the fifth week in the month, with a full moon, so a blue moon with a partial moon eclipse just before dawn on Wednesday morning, if people were up early enough to see it. Some of us will not be here for the next one. On Friday it turned very cold again with several inches of new snow and...

Good to see Mark is back and working --take care and best of luck to you. Friday made it up to the 40s temperature wise and hopes for spring brought smiles to everyone's faces but days since have been slightly cooler again. It sure helped settle the snow tho. The birds that were here for a short while must have come to the conclusion that winter was not over and went back south for a while, I haven't seen any at all around for days. It is so good to see that Dodson's boy's basketball team is...

Hello with a mighty change from last week and beyond---the winter snow storm that moved in on us Monday and Tuesday has made a big difference here where we had none for weeks. It is such a heavy snow so hard to get around in and will keep you in its grip if you do get stuck----all the plows and plowers are busy every day moving it. The rain we got here before it began to snow makes it dangerous as a person doesn't see some of the ice. Be careful and watch your step. Al Minugh stepped on some of...
