    Loring area got a little rain this weekend to lessen the fire danger! Before it rained, though, the lightning started three fires in the area. All were extinguished before too much damage was done. Thank you to all the neighbors and fire fighting volunteers for the speedy help.     Summer is definitely here! The sweet clover, yucca and blue flax is blooming along the road to Malta making a kaleidoscope of color! the road construction is moving along right on schedule for the 12 miles along the Milk River!     Summer is here and so are the summer temperatures. We hit 85 degrees on Sunday. We have had very little rain, only about a quarter inch last week.     Sympathy is extended to the Arabelle McMullen family. All nine kids made it home to say farewell. Many north country folks were in town for the funeral.     The temperatures have really plummeted this week. Some of the low temperatures were below zero, and some days the highs were in the single digits! I think this week will be warmer.
