Happy first day of spring this week! The temps have been amazingly warm for this time of year after we had a blizzard last weekend! Most of the snow is gone, ran down the hills into the coulees and then the dams! I spotted one cedar waxwing in our Russian olives, which is unusual since they usually appear in flocks! Also, I saw some big white birds that I'm calling swans. They were swimming in some snowmelt just off the Milk River! Someone said they were white geese, but I'm saying swans! Also a...

Loring community has had a wonderful week to move the church. Monday the Big Flat came out to unhook the electricity so the church could be moved. It was moved just across the street to the park area. Then one more day it was moved beside the Loring Hall and the final day of moving was onto the new basement. Then on Friday it was set down and bolted on. It will be a few months until we can hold services there. Until then the services are held at the Loring Hall. Dixie Stordahl will be leading...

About 20 years ago, I read Michener's Centennial and I felt so bad for the early pioneers who had to put up with so little. The wind this weekend is driving me insane! I hope it stops soon. Sunday afternoon several people got together and cleaned everything out of the church and set up a temporary meeting place in the Loring Hall. I am confident that the soil conditions will be conducive to transporting the church building to the basement sometime this spring! You should have seen the piano...

The ceremony venue was MoAv, a coffee shop in the refurbished Carlton on Montana Ave. The cake was baked and decorated by the bride'ss mother in the shape of a geode. It was beautiful as was...

Dixie Stordahl and Lu Besel sat at the GPDM table and right across from them was Brenda Clark with her creations! It was a fun day and we saw many...
1-26. Hey, all! This is mostly about Dixie Stordahl's trip to Arizona! I had a flight with Allegient which I love because it is a straight flight with no layovers. But this time it was late by about two hours. My brother Scott met me at the Mesa airport and drove me to his home, where a delicious dinner was waiting, thanks to Roxanne, my sister in law! Scott and I took in the meteorite museum at the ASU campus which is awesome! Not a large museum, but very well done and informative! Then on to...
