St. Mary’s Parish is holding The Nite At The Races fundraiser again this year. This is the 3rd Annual event for St. Mary’s. The event includes 10 races with 10 horses in each race. The races are a video of actual races on the large tracks in Florida. The Professional racetrack announcer calls the horses by their actual names which appear in the Official Past Performance Race Programs which will be available the night of the event. On Tuesday, May 14, St. Mary's hosts "Drinking the Spirit" at the GN Lodge Room at 7 p.m. This is an adult group for anyone who is interested in hearing different speakers on different topics. On Friday, February 9, St. Mary's Parish is hosting its 2nd annual "A Nite at The Races" fundraiser. This year's event will again be at the Tin Cup and Marian Hills Golf Course. There will a roast beef dinner with dessert prior to the races. The no-host social hour is from 5 to6 p.m. followed by the meal and races. The cost of the tickets is $25.
